Company Outline:

Based in the heart of Central London a world wide brand name specialising in fast moving consumer goods are seeking a Hyperion Support Analyst. We are currently using version 9 of HFM for our consolidation of figures to our world wide global entities. Due to the excess demands placed on us with regards meeting month end requirements and other budgeting and reporting targets we seek a HFM Support Analyst to drive the process further. The HFM System which reports into about four different continents is centralised in our London office.

Daily requirements:

On a day to day basis you will be required to liaise with financial directors and CFO's with regards producing month end reports, budgeting figures, variance analysis and K.P.I analysis. For this we require someone who has prior experience in speaking to the business. Other tasks will require you to work hands on with the HFM system, this means challenging the system, developing the system and providing an analysis to how HFM can be maximised to get the companies best results. This role will also involve you to support the system in its many different countries, you will be expected to have a good level of spoken English for this as well as the ability to meet deadlines and handle requirements.

Skills required:

Essential skills:

Part qualification on either a CIMA or ACCA. We will also consider candidates who have been trained on accountancy by experience.
At least 18 months usage of a similar consolidation tool. Ideally we seek someone with HFM experience but will be willing to take a candidate who has Hyperion Enterprise experience, MPC Consolidation, Business Objects, Cartesis, Coda, Cognos or SAP BPC.

Flexible skills:

General Ledger experience
Excel expert knowledge.

You will also be trained internally by individuals who understand the system inside out.
Because of the size of our organisation their is scope to go into project management and play key roles in future implementations. Their are a lot of projects involved where we might select a new planning tool or a general ledger tool and would expect the right candidate to play a key role in implementations and deciding what solutions we use next.
